Personal Profile

A German-educated attorney-at-law, I came to the Czech Republic in 2001 and started working with Rödl & Partner, one of the largest German-based advisory companies.

Owing to the structure of Rödl & Partner, I was able over the past five years to work closely with tax advisors, auditors, and accountants, thus familiarizing myself with their way of working and thinking. We have come a long, interesting and rewarding way!

To me, giving legal advice means, above all, to assist in the realization of economic goals. I concede that economic goals are not always feasible when one confronts them with the legal reality. But the opposite is also true: some legal concepts just don't make economic sense.

This is my personal point of departure for legal advisory services: to take the time, get together and share thoughts, and then identify how economic goals and legal realities may be reconciled in the ideal manner.
